WAP

WAP technology allows people to use handheld wireless devices such as mobile phones or PDAs to access information.

Devices that use WAP to access the Internet run what are called microbrowsers - and the small file sizes take into account the low memory constraints of mobile phones and PDAs, and the low-bandwidth constraints of a wireless internet connection of moblie phones.
