Sandwell Public Information Network

Sandwell Public Information Network (SPIN) is a partnership project between the local authority, the health partnership, Click!Sandwell and the local voluntary sector.

As a response to public consultation in the early stages of the Health Action Zone (HAZ) initiative in Sandwell, a need was identified for improved information and communication around health related issues. A project called PICCI was established, consisting of 3 strands: Public Information, Communication and Community Involvement. SPIN is the Public Information part of this project.

SPIN is involved in creating a network of information and advice providers and helping them share the information they have with other similar agencies and the people of Sandwell.

SPIN aims to improve the flow of accurate and up to date information around the Borough of Sandwell, identify gaps in information provision and raise awareness of new and existing public information.
