Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council
After a rigorous tender process, Box UK was selected to provide Amaxus, its XML content management system, to power Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council websites.
The implementation of Amaxus will be used to drive the Council's Intranet and public websites, a wider community portal and a range of smaller sites that will be managed by partner organisations and community groups.
The system will allow content to be shared amongst the sites, as well as the syndication of content to other related sites.
Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council was winner of the Council of the Year Award 2002.
