Box UK develops Amaxus Google Maps module

The developers at Box UK have created another cutting-edge Amaxus module to keep your site at the forefront of web technology. Adding the Google Maps module to your site enables users to access global maps directly from your site. This module also provides the added functionality of linking site specific information such as office locations, available hotels or directions to your maps.

The user is free to add markers to the map as they see fit. Due to the modular nature of Amaxus, we’re also able to automatically plot any item that contains geo-data (postcode, address, longitude/latitude, etc). All the other features you find in Google maps are fully supported in the Amaxus module version.

The Welsh Tourist Board have implemented the module so it returns search information on where accommodation is available.
