User Group Day - February '08
The first Amaxus User Group meeting, to be held on Tuesday 12th February at De Morgan House, Russell Square, London, WC1B 4HS.
You'll have already witnessed some historic events this past year: the first FA Cup at the new Wembley Stadium, Led Zeppelin reforming, and the launch of the iPhone. Not one of these, however, can compare to this first big event of 2008.
2007 has been a spectacular year for Amaxus. The system has been chosen for a number of flagship national projects, and has seen the largest number of enhancements added since launch. Box UK has committed to making Amaxus the best content management system available - bar none.
We've almost doubled our team sizes - not just in development, but also in support, quality assurance and other areas. We'll soon be introducing an outstanding designer to the team, along with a Rapid Response Unit to ensure that you receive the best service possible. On top of all this, we're also introducing a regular release process, to ensure that you get access to the latest and greatest features, quickly and easily.
Our mission is to make content management 'fun'. Yes, you read that correctly. We want you to look forward to managing your website content. Sounds impossible? We don't think so. And we'd like your help.
The Amaxus User Group will give you the opportunity to meet other Amaxus customers, and listen to presentations on how organisations similar to yours are making the most from the vast capabilities of the system. We'll also be talking to you about the future of the product, including Amaxus 4 (due in the second quarter of next year), which will feature a complete ground-up re-development of the administration interface. You'll have the opportunity to feed into this design process, and shape the future of content management.
But wait, there's more: we'll also be launching the new extranet - designed from your feedback - and having some excellent food... We wouldn't normally recommend events like this, but this one does actually sound pretty darn good! These will become regular events, so you'll also be telling us what you'd like to see in future user groups.
