Amaxus Community

Amaxus Online Community GraphicHundreds of websites are currently managed with Amaxus by organisations ranging from the FTSE 100 to international standards bodies to leading organisations across the UK public and heritage sector. It is our privilege to work with some amazing people. When you become an Amaxus client, you also gain access to all the knowledge and expertise this community has to offer.

We are committed to providing our clients with opportunities to network and share information with other Amaxus users and to give them the tools to rethink how they use the web and inform the evolution of their online presence.

Amaxus Online Community
In the fall of 2009 we launched the Amaxus Online Community - a private social network for Amaxus Users. This sophisticated tool, which is built using the same Amaxus Commuity Module that is currently driving the BCS Member Network, allows users to create profiles for themselves and for their companies, share information about projects and code, and ask questions of other Amaxus Users and our in-house team of developers. We are also building up an extensive downloadable resource section within the community so that clients always have access to the most up-to-date, relevant and cutting-edge information about Amaxus and website management.

With well over a hundred users online representing clients from the National Gallery and the BBC to Investec Asset Management and World Vision, the Amaxus Online Community is a resource that is steadily growing both in terms of the number of participants and the wealth of information that is shared. Access to this network is granted exclusively to Amaxus clients.

Amaxus User Group Mini-Conferences
Twice a year networking events are held for Amaxus clients. These full day events are filled with round table discussions, presentations, case studies and networking opportunities. We also try to include a keynote speaker to add additional value for clients. Previous keynote speakers include Ashley Friedlein, CEO of Econsultancy and Basheera Khan, Technology Blogger for the Telegraph.

There is no cost for clients to attend Amaxus User Group Mini-Conferences and a complimentary lunch is provided.

Training Programme
We are committed to ensuring that our clients are well positioned to get the most out of Amaxus. One of the core ways we achieve this is through an extensive Training Programme, which offers courses tailored to meet the needs of different types of users from Authors and Moderators to Administrators and Developers.
